The Liv Tempt 1 2025 in Black Diamond opens the door to mountain biking with a capable, confidence-building setup. Featuring a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame, Shimano CUES 1×10-speed gearing, hydraulic disc brakes and a dropper seatpost, it is ready for off-road exploring, fitness rides and developing your trail skills.
The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame combines durability with a responsive ride feel, making the Tempt an inviting platform for regular riding. Modern mountain bike geometry helps balance climbing efficiency with control on descents. Internal cable routing keeps the setup tidy, while integrated chainstay protection helps reduce chain noise and protect the frame when riding over rough ground.
The Tempt 1 offers 27.5-inch wheels in XS and S, with 29-inch options in S and M. This gives smaller riders a choice of setups suited to their fit and handling preferences. The SXC32-3 RL suspension fork uses a coil spring and Boost 15x110mm front axle. Travel is matched to wheel size, with 80mm on the 27.5-inch models and 100mm on the 29-inch models. It helps soften bumps and maintain control on uneven paths and trails, giving you a more comfortable platform as your confidence grows.
Shimano CUES 1×10-speed shifting keeps gear selection straightforward with a single front chainring. An 11–48T cassette provides a wide range for climbs and rolling terrain, while the Shadow+ rear derailleur helps control chain movement over rough surfaces. The 27.5-inch models use a 32T chainring, with a 30T chainring fitted to the 29-inch models.
The included Giant Contact Switch Core dropper seatpost lets you lower the saddle using a handlebar remote. This creates more room to move your weight when descending or navigating technical sections, then allows you to raise the saddle again for efficient pedalling. The 27.5-inch models have 100mm of dropper travel, while the 29-inch models have 125mm.
Tektro hydraulic disc brakes use a 180mm front rotor and 160mm rear rotor to provide smooth, controlled stopping power.
