Welcome to our Shipping Terms and Conditions page. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Our primary carrier for shipping is Australia Post.
1. Shipping Methods and Costs
- We use Australia Post for all shippable orders
- All orders are processed in $AUD
- Standard Shipping: $12.95 (3-7 business days)
- Express Shipping: $18.95 (1-4 business days)
- Free Shipping: Orders over $100 except for Wheel Boxes
- Wheel Boxes: $55 for Standard Shipping or Click & Collect only
- All bicycles are for Click & Collect only – We do not ship bikes so please do not ask
- Some oversize items such as floor pumps and other large items are for Click & Collect only
2. Order Processing
- Orders are processed within 1-2 days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
- You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
- If you purchase an item from the supplier warehouse, all items in that order will not be shipped until we receive the goods from Shimano Australia.
- Please note the ships in (x) amount of days refers to business days and does not include the weekends or public holidays.
- As the supplier inventory is updated once per day, some items ordered from Shimano Australia may be out of stock at the time of placing an order.
- If an item is out of stock we will contact you ASAP to discuss further options and process a refund if required.
3. Delivery
- As we are located in Western Australia, Standard Shipping will use trucks to head East and Express Shipping will use Aeroplanes.
- Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances or Australia Post delays.
- Please allow extra time during busy online shopping periods such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
- If an order is undeliverable due to incorrect information provided by the customer, additional charges may apply for reshipment.
- If your order has not arrived within 5 business days of the estimated timeframe provided by Australia Post please contact us so that we may lodge an enquiry.
4. Tracking
- Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can track your shipment on the Australia Post website.
- We highly recommend downloading the Australia Post App to your phone.
5. Signature on Delivery
- We provide free signature on delivery for all shipments unless otherwise stated.
- George’s Bike Shop Balcatta is not responsible for any missing post if the customer opts out of the signature on delivery service.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
- If your package is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us immediately.
- We will assist in filing a claim with Australia Post. Please retain all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
7. Returns and Exchanges
- Please refer to our Return Policy https://www.georgesbikeshop.com.au/refund_returns/ information on returns and exchanges.
- Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
8. Changes to Shipping Policy
- We reserve the right to update or change our Shipping Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
