The Giant Seek 2 2026 in Abyss Black brings the excitement of road cycling to young riders. With a lightweight aluminium frame, composite fork, microSHIFT electronic shifting and a youth-specific cockpit, it delivers a responsive ride with controls designed around smaller hands and growing confidence.
The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame uses smaller-diameter tubing specifically designed for young riders. Paired with an Advanced-grade composite fork, it creates an agile platform for family road rides, fitness outings and developing cycling skills. The fork adds compliance to help smooth road vibration while supporting precise steering.
The Giant Contact SL Lite handlebar measures 320mm at the hoods and flares to 340mm at the drops. Its short 62mm reach and shallow 100mm drop make the riding positions more accessible than a typical adult handlebar. Youth-optimised brake lever ergonomics help smaller hands reach the controls comfortably, giving riders confidence as they learn to use a drop-bar bike.
The Giant Seek 2 features microSHIFT electronic shifting with a single front chainring and ten rear gears. A 30T chainring pairs with an 11–38T microSHIFT SWORD cassette, providing useful options for climbs and rolling roads. The electronic shifting battery and charging cable are included, while a Giant 1x chain guide helps keep the chain on track.
Giant GL30 650B wheels work with the compact frame to create a setup suited to smaller riders. The wheels feature 30mm-deep rims, Sapim Race spokes and Giant alloy thru-axle hubs. Giant Gavia Course 0 650x28B tubeless road tyres complete the package for sealed roads, cycling paths and family road adventures.
Youth-tuned hydraulic disc braking helps riders manage speed with controls suited to lower grip strength and body weight. The Seek 2 uses a 160mm front rotor and 140mm rear rotor, supporting predictable braking as young cyclists practise approaching corners and stopping smoothly. Accessible lever positioning helps them stay comfortable using the hoods and drops.
Designed for riders approximately 130–150cm tall, the Seek 2 includes a seatpost marked with a body-height index to help guide saddle adjustment. Short 130mm cranks support comfortable pedalling, while the narrow Giant Grit Core Lite saddle is shaped for young cyclists.
