The Giant Seek 1 2026 in Raw Aluminum brings performance-focused road and gravel riding to young cyclists. With a lightweight aluminium frame, composite fork, TRP Vistar wireless electronic shifting and carbon 650B wheels, it combines premium equipment with a fit designed around smaller riders.
At George’s Bike Shop Balcatta, we assemble the Seek 1 with the included 35mm Giant CrossCut Grip gravel tyres fitted. The original 28mm Giant Gavia Course road tyres are also supplied, giving your young rider two tyre options for different adventures.
The fitted Giant CrossCut Grip 1 650x35B tyres provide extra volume for comfort and confidence on mixed surfaces. For rides focused on sealed roads, the supplied Giant Gavia Course 0 650x28B tyres offer a narrower road setup. This flexibility makes the Giant Seek 1 an appealing choice for families who enjoy both road cycling and light gravel exploring.
TRP Vistar wireless electronic shifting delivers gear changes with minimal hand effort, helping young riders concentrate on the road ahead. A single 30T chainring keeps operation straightforward, while the Shimano 105 12-speed 11–36T cassette provides options for climbs, flat roads and rolling terrain. The Vistar battery and charger are included.
The Giant SLR 1 40 Carbon Disc 650B WheelSystem brings premium wheel equipment to this junior bike. Its smaller wheel diameter works with the youth-specific frame design to create a proportionate riding setup. Whether your young cyclist is enjoying a family ride or developing a taste for road training, the Seek 1 provides a responsive platform to build skills.
The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame and Advanced-grade composite fork pair with a Giant Contact SL Lite handlebar measuring 320mm at the hoods and 340mm at the drops. Short 130mm cranks and youth-specific brake lever ergonomics help smaller riders pedal and operate the controls comfortably. A composite D-Fuse seatpost adds compliance, while the Giant Grit Core Lite saddle completes the setup.
Tektro TR-35 hydraulic disc brakes with 140mm rotors help young cyclists manage their speed on roads, paths and gentle gravel routes. Accessible controls support important riding skills, from slowing before corners to stopping smoothly. Combined with the fitted 35mm tyres, the bike offers a capable foundation for learning to handle changing surfaces.
The Giant Seek 1 2026 suits young riders approximately 130–150cm tall who are ready for a premium junior road and gravel bike. It’s an appealing choice for family fitness rides, junior road cycling and light gravel adventures. Our team can help check reach, standover and brake lever access to ensure the fit suits your child’s proportions and experience.
