The Giant Faith SE 2027 in Ocean Flux is a full-suspension youth mountain bike designed for young riders ready to progress on the trails. With youth-tuned suspension, a mixed wheel setup, hydraulic disc brakes and a dropper seatpost, it combines efficient climbing with confident handling on demanding terrain.
The Giant Faith SE pairs 135mm of FlexPoint rear suspension with a 140mm Giant Crest SL fork. Both the fork and Crest FloTrac Lite rear shock feature a custom lightweight rider tune, helping the suspension respond under smaller riders. This gives young cyclists useful traction and control over rocks, roots and uneven ground as their speed and trail skills develop.
A 27.5-inch front wheel helps the Giant Faith SE roll over obstacles, while the smaller 26-inch rear wheel keeps handling agile through corners and tighter sections. This combination balances stability with manoeuvrability, giving growing riders a capable platform for technical trails. The wheel sizes also suit riders moving beyond smaller kids mountain bikes while still needing youth-specific proportions.
The ALUXX SL-grade aluminium frame features geometry designed around young trail riders. A 64.5-degree head angle supports confident descending, while the 77-degree seat tube angle provides an efficient seated climbing position. With 135mm of rear travel and a 410mm reach, the Giant Faith SE gives developing riders room to move around the bike as they learn to tackle more challenging terrain.
The Giant TRA WheelSystem uses alloy hookless rims with a 30mm internal width and WideGuard technology. A rear hub with 72 points of engagement provides a responsive connection when returning to the pedals. The Giant Faith SE pairs these wheels with a Maxxis Minion DHF 27.5×2.5-inch front tyre and Minion DHR II 26×2.4-inch rear tyre for trail-focused cornering and braking grip.
A microSHIFT Advent X 1×10 drivetrain keeps shifting straightforward with one front chainring and a single gear shifter. The 30T chainring and 11–48T cassette provide useful gearing for climbs, rolling trails and linking sections. Shorter 155mm cranks suit growing riders, while the included Giant 1x chain guide helps retain the chain when the trail gets rough.
Tektro HD-J2820 hydraulic disc brakes give the Giant Faith SE controlled stopping power, with a 180mm front rotor and 160mm rear rotor. The remote-operated Contact Switch AT Lite dropper provides 100mm of saddle adjustment, allowing riders to lower the seat for descending and raise it again for climbing. Small-hand grips, a 40mm stem and a Giant Romero saddle complete the cockpit.
The Giant Faith SE is designed for riders approximately 145–165cm tall who want a dedicated full-suspension mountain bike. It suits young cyclists progressing onto rocky tracks, root-covered trails and steeper descents.
