The Shimano FC-M6200 crankset uses Shimano’s proven 2-piece crank construction with a 24mm steel axle to maximise pedalling efficiency while maintaining excellent durability. This design helps transfer rider input directly into forward motion, providing reliable performance on steep climbs, technical terrain, and long-distance rides.
Supplied with a direct-mount 30-tooth chainring, the Shimano FC-M6200 provides lower gearing that is ideal for riders tackling steep climbs, technical trails, and challenging terrain. The direct-mount design allows simple chainring replacement while maintaining a strong and secure interface between the crank arm and chainring.
Shimano’s Dynamic Chain Engagement tooth profile improves chain retention and helps reduce the likelihood of dropped chains when riding rough trails. The specially shaped narrow-wide teeth provide secure chain engagement while delivering quieter drivetrain performance.
