Supplied pre-filled with Shimano Low Viscosity Mineral Oil, brake hose, D03S resin brake pads and connection hardware, this rear hydraulic brake kit delivers powerful braking performance with simplified installation.
The Shimano J-Kit system arrives with the brake hose pre-filled with Shimano Low Viscosity Mineral Oil and connected to the caliper, simplifying installation and reducing the amount of bleeding normally required. The kit also includes the necessary connection hardware for final assembly, making it an excellent option for new bike builds and brake upgrades.
The Shimano BR-M6220 hydraulic brake caliper features a powerful 4-piston design that delivers outstanding stopping power with excellent modulation and control. Designed for trail, enduro, all-mountain and e-MTB riding, the four opposed pistons provide consistent braking performance even during long, technical descents.
This brake kit is supplied with genuine Shimano D03S resin brake pads already installed in the caliper. These pads deliver quiet operation, excellent modulation and dependable braking performance while remaining easy to replace when worn.
The included Shimano BL-M6200 left-hand brake lever features Shimano’s latest ERGO FLOW ergonomics and SERVOWAVE technology for powerful one-finger braking with excellent modulation. Adjustable reach and I-SPEC EV compatibility allow riders to fine-tune their cockpit for maximum comfort and control.
