New Trails, Growing Confidence

The Giant Talon 24 Disc 2026 in Metallic Blue is made for young riders ready to explore. With a lightweight aluminium frame, 50mm suspension fork and mechanical disc brakes, this 24-inch mountain bike brings confidence and fun to neighbourhood adventures, family rides and gentle dirt trails.

A Stable Foundation for Learning

The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame gives the Giant Talon 24 Disc a durable platform for everyday riding. A shorter seat tube and low standover height make getting on and off easier, while the lower bottom bracket helps create a balanced feel. This layout supports young riders as they practise cornering, moving around on the bike and handling different surfaces.

Suspension for Bumps Along the Way

The custom suspension fork provides 50mm of travel to help absorb bumps on uneven paths and gentle trails. Giant Junior Sport 24×1.95-inch tyres offer a versatile setup for pavement and dirt. Whether the route stays close to home or heads into the park, the Talon 24 Disc encourages kids to enjoy exploring and build their off-road skills.

Controls Sized for Young Riders

A kid-specific tapered handlebar, Giant Junior grips and short-reach brake levers help smaller hands manage the controls comfortably. Shorter 140mm alloy cranks suit young riders’ legs, while the Explora Jr. saddle completes the youth-focused setup. These details help make pedalling and handling more manageable, allowing kids to concentrate on the ride ahead.

Seven Gears, One Simple Shifter

Shimano REVOSHIFT twist shifting offers a straightforward introduction to gears. A single 32T front chainring pairs with seven rear gears spanning 14–34T, providing options for gentle climbs and flatter paths. With one shifter to operate, young riders can practise choosing an easier gear for hills and finding a comfortable pedalling rhythm.

Disc Brakes for Confident Speed Control

Mechanical disc brakes use a 160mm front rotor and 140mm rear rotor to help riders manage speed on changing terrain. Junior MTB brake levers keep the controls accessible for smaller hands. They support everyday skills such as slowing before corners, navigating dirt paths and stopping smoothly at the end of a ride.

Who Is the Giant Talon 24 Disc For?

The Giant Talon 24 Disc 2026 suits young riders approximately 130–150cm tall who want a versatile bike for neighbourhood outings, family cycling and gentle off-road adventures. It’s an inviting next step for kids moving to 24-inch wheels and developing confidence with gears and disc brakes. Checking reach, standover and brake lever access helps confirm a comfortable fit.
