The Giant Talon 2 2025 in Pure Red is built for riders ready to explore off-road. With a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame, front suspension, a simple microSHIFT 1×9 drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes, this hardtail mountain bike brings confidence and fun to every ride.
The redesigned ALUXX aluminium frame gives the Giant Talon 2 a durable, responsive foundation for dirt tracks and cross-country riding. Its modern geometry helps you stay balanced and in control, while internal cable routing and integrated chainstay protection keep the setup tidy and help reduce chain slap on rough ground.
The SXC32-3 RL coil-spring suspension fork helps absorb bumps and keep the front wheel tracking across uneven surfaces. On the 29-inch build, Maxxis Rekon Race 2.4-inch tyres provide generous volume for traction and comfort, while front and rear thru-axles create a secure connection between the wheels and frame.
A microSHIFT Advent 1×9 drivetrain keeps gear changes straightforward, with a single front chainring and an 11–46T cassette. The clutch-equipped rear derailleur helps control chain movement over rough terrain, letting you focus on your line rather than managing a front derailleur.
Tektro TKD143 hydraulic disc brakes pair a 180mm front rotor with a 160mm rear rotor. They deliver controlled stopping power for managing speed on descents and approaching corners with confidence.
The Talon’s 30.9mm seat tube and internal dropper cable routing allow for a compatible dropper seatpost upgrade. Integrated mounts also provide options for a rack, mudguards or a compatible KSA 18 kickstand, making it easy to adapt the bike as your riding needs grow.
The Giant Talon 2 2025 suits riders getting into mountain biking, building confidence on dirt tracks or looking for a versatile hardtail for recreational rides. Its straightforward gearing, hydraulic brakes and durable aluminium frame make it an inviting platform for learning and exploring.
