Take the Scenic Route Beyond the Tarmac

The Giant Revolt 1 2026 in Alpine Green is a versatile gravel bike built for rides that mix sealed roads, gravel paths and dirt backroads. Its ALUXX aluminium frame and Advanced-grade composite fork combine responsive handling with comfort over uneven surfaces. Shimano CUES 2×10 gearing, hydraulic disc brakes and adjustable rear dropouts give you a practical setup for exploring further.

ALUXX Aluminium Frame and Confident Handling

The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame combines endurance-focused positioning with geometry designed for control on varied terrain. A longer reach and shorter stem help maintain stability, while the low bottom bracket position creates a settled riding feel. Front and rear 12mm thru-axles securely attach the wheels, providing a dependable platform for road rides and gravel adventures.

Composite Fork and D-Fuse Comfort

An Advanced-grade composite fork with a full-composite OverDrive steerer helps smooth the front end over rough surfaces. Dropped seatstays work with the Giant Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar and D-Fuse alloy seatpost to reduce the harshness of road shocks and vibration. The Giant Revolt 1 balances this added compliance with the responsive feel needed for climbing, cornering and accelerating.

Adjustable Flip Chip Dropouts

The rear dropout flip chip lets you adjust the wheelbase to suit your riding. The short position creates quicker handling and allows tyres up to 45mm, while the long position adds stability and increases clearance to 53mm. The frame also supports a compatible 30.9mm round seatpost or dropper post as an alternative to the supplied D-Fuse seatpost.

Shimano CUES 2×10 Drivetrain

Shimano CUES U6030 controls operate a 2×10 drivetrain with a 46/32T crankset and 11-39T cassette. This broad gearing range provides useful options for steep climbs, loose surfaces and faster connecting roads. A Shimano CUES U6020 Shadow+ rear derailleur helps control chain movement on rough terrain, while the KMC X11 chain completes the drivetrain.

Hydraulic Disc Braking

Shimano CUES U6030 hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping when descending or approaching corners on changing surfaces. Giant MPH 160mm rotors front and rear deliver a balanced braking setup for the Revolt’s mix of road and gravel riding.

Tubeless Wheels and Gravel Tyres

Giant S-X2 Disc alloy wheels are paired with CrossCut AT 2 tubeless 700x38c tyres, and the bike is supplied tubeless prepared. This setup suits routes that alternate between pavement and unsealed surfaces. The Giant Revolt 1 also offers room for wider tyres when you want to tailor comfort and traction to more demanding gravel conditions.

Who Is the Giant Revolt 1 For?

The Giant Revolt 1 suits riders wanting one bike for road fitness, gravel exploration, commuting and longer weekend adventures. Its comfortable positioning, wide gearing range and adjustable tyre clearance make it an appealing option for riders who enjoy choosing their route without being limited to smooth tarmac.
