Front Handbrake and Rear Coaster Brake

The Animator 16 combines an adjustable-reach front handbrake with a rear coaster brake operated by pedalling backwards. This allows a developing rider to begin learning how to use a handlebar brake while retaining the familiar and straightforward operation of a coaster brake. The single-speed drivetrain has no gears or shifters to manage, allowing the child to concentrate on balance, steering and stopping.

Removable Training Wheels

Included training wheels provide additional support while a child becomes comfortable with pedalling and steering. They can be removed once the rider develops sufficient balance and confidence, allowing the same bike to support the transition to independent two-wheel riding. Children who have already gained balancing skills on a balance bike may be ready to begin riding without them.

Stable 16-Inch Wheels and Wide Tyres
