The Shimano BT-DN320 Battery Di2 is the dedicated removable power source for compatible wireless Shimano Di2 rear derailleurs. Used across Shimano XTR, Deore XT, Deore and selected GRX Di2 systems, this compact 305mAh lithium-ion battery fits securely inside the rear derailleur and provides dependable power for fast, precise and consistent electronic shifting.
Originally introduced with Shimano’s wireless XTR Di2 drivetrain, the BT-DN320 is also used in compatible Deore XT, Deore and GRX wireless Di2 rear derailleurs. Its shared battery design makes it a convenient genuine replacement or spare for riders using Shimano’s latest wireless electronic shifting systems.
The Shimano BT-DN320 fits securely within an enclosed compartment inside the compatible Di2 rear derailleur. This protected position keeps the battery firmly in place across rough and technical terrain while shielding it from impacts and trail debris.
The BT-DN320 can be completely removed from the rear derailleur for convenient charging. This allows the battery to be charged separately from the bicycle using the compatible Shimano EC-DN100 battery charger.
With a rated capacity of 305mAh and an energy capacity of 2.32Wh, the BT-DN320 provides dependable power for Shimano’s fast and smooth wireless Di2 shifting. Its rechargeable lithium-ion construction delivers reliable performance while maintaining a compact and lightweight design.

The Shimano BT-DN320 is charged using the dedicated Shimano EC-DN100 battery charger. It is not compatible with older Shimano Di2 chargers or charging cables designed for previous-generation internal batteries.
