The BR-M8220 4-piston caliper is the most powerful in the XT M8200 range, offering exceptional control and predictable power delivery. Updated seals and Shimano’s low viscosity mineral oil ensure a consistent bite point across varying temperatures and terrain.
The BL-M8200 brake levers feature evolved ergonomics, a closer pivot point, and toolless reach adjust for perfect fit and control. Shimano’s revised SERVO WAVE action optimises the power curve, ensuring smooth modulation from initial contact to full stopping force.
The BR-M8220 caliper incorporates a revised pad and oval mount to eliminate vibration-induced rattle. This kit includes both P03A-RF resin finned pads and P04C-MF metal finned pads, allowing riders to fine-tune brake feel and heat management.
